Are the area rugs special ordered or purchased right in the store?
Both! We have area rugs hanging up in our store you can purchase and walk out with to take home or they can be ordered from a catalog and shipped UPS in a short amount of time. We offer hundreds of styles from modern--to floral--to oriental with fringe. Our prices are affordable too, you don't have to spend a fortune to get a gorgeous rug that completes your room. We can also take any regular backing carpet like the one you would install wall to wall and cut it to the size you need then bind the edges in our store.
What size area rug do I need for my room?
It is recommended that you purchase a rug that is at least 2 feet shorter than the shortest wall in the room. When choosing an area rug for a dining area, you should make sure that you leave plenty of room for a chair to slide in and out from the table without catching the rug. Generally, you should leave about 4 feet on each side of the table to allow for this.
Should I buy padding or underlayment for my rug?
Paddings and underlayments are recommended for a number of reasons. Not only can they add years to the lifetime of your rug, but they can also help it stay in place and provides extra cushion when walked on.
